Getting Started
Before your first import
What is Reseller's Pro? +
Reseller's Pro is a bookkeeping and analytics tool built specifically for eBay resellers. It imports your eBay orders and active listings via CSV, tracks your income and expenses, and generates P&L reports, sourcing ROI analysis, platform performance breakdowns, and eBay analytics dashboards — all in one place. No spreadsheets required.
Who is this built for? +
Resellers who sell on eBay and are tired of guessing their real profit. Whether you sell cards, clothing, electronics, vintage, or anything else — if you're importing from eBay, Reseller's Pro works for you. It was built by a high-volume reseller who got frustrated with spreadsheets and decided to build something better.
Do I need to know anything technical to use it? +
No. If you can download a CSV from eBay and upload a file, you're set. The setup guide walks you through every step. The whole process takes about 10 minutes to get your first two years of data loaded.
Is there a free trial? +
Yes — 14 days, full access, no credit card required. Sign up at resellerspro.app and you'll have access to every feature from day one.
eBay Data & Imports
Orders, listings, and analytics
How do I get my eBay orders into the app? +
eBay lets you download your order history as a CSV file from Seller Hub. Here's how:
  • Go to eBay Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads
  • Click Download Report → Orders → All Orders
  • Set date range to the maximum (2 years back) and hit Download
  • In the app, go to eBay Orders → Import eBay Orders CSV
The full walkthrough is in the Setup Guide.
How often should I re-import? +
Once a month is the sweet spot. Re-importing is safe — the app detects duplicates by order number and item number, so it only adds new orders each time. You'll never get double-counted data.
What about multi-item orders? Do they get double-counted? +
No — we handle this correctly. eBay's CSV includes a "summary row" for combined orders that would inflate your revenue if imported. Reseller's Pro skips those summary rows and only imports the individual item rows, so your totals are always accurate.
Can I import my active listings? +
Yes. From eBay Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads, download an All Active Listings report. Import it in the app under Active Listings → Import Active Listings CSV. You'll see inventory value, watchers, expiring listings, and a keyword analysis of what's trending in your store.
Can I import my monthly eBay analytics data? +
Yes. In the app under eBay Analytics → Import CSV, you can upload a spreadsheet with your monthly metrics (total sales, fees, shipping, impressions, conversion rates, etc.). Download the template first to see the exact format. You can also enter months manually using the + Add / Edit Month button.
Income & Expenses
Tracking your money
Can I track income from platforms other than eBay? +
Yes. The Income tab lets you manually add entries or import a CSV with any platform — Mercari, Poshmark, card shows, in-person sales, whatever you do. The Platform Performance report breaks down your revenue by source so you can see which channel is actually worth your time.
What expense categories are available? +
The app comes with sensible defaults — Shipping Supplies, eBay Fees, Sourcing, Equipment, etc. But you can fully customize the list: add your own categories, rename existing ones, and delete ones you don't use. Categories added when importing a CSV also get saved to your list automatically.
How does the Sourcing ROI report work? +
The Sourcing ROI report matches your sourcing expenses against your revenue to show how much you're making back per dollar spent. Any expense with a category containing "Sourcing", "Inventory", "Cost of Goods", or similar keywords is counted as a sourcing expense. The report shows monthly breakdowns and an overall ROI multiplier — e.g. 2.4x means you're bringing in $2.40 for every $1 you spend sourcing.
Reports
Understanding your numbers
What reports are available? +
Currently available:
  • P&L Statement — revenue, expenses, and net income for any date range
  • Balance Sheet — assets, liabilities, and net worth by month
  • Platform Performance — revenue and transaction breakdown by sales channel
  • Sourcing ROI — sourcing spend vs revenue with monthly ROI trend
More reports (Tax Summary, P&L Comparison, Buyer Retention) are in development.
Can I print or export reports? +
Yes. Every report has a Print / PDF button that opens a clean, print-ready version in a new tab. You can print it or save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog. Income and expense data can also be exported as CSV files for use in Excel or with your accountant.
Can I use this for taxes? +
Yes, and it was designed with this in mind. The P&L Statement gives your accountant a clean summary of revenue and expenses by category. You can export all income and expense data as CSV. A dedicated Tax Summary report (formatted for Schedule C) is coming soon.
Account & Billing
Subscriptions, data, and security
Where is my data stored? +
Your data is stored in Firebase — Google's cloud infrastructure — and isolated per account. Nobody else can see your data. It syncs automatically across devices so you can access it from any browser.
Can I delete my account and data? +
Yes. In Settings → Profile, there's a Delete My Account button. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data from our servers. This cannot be undone.
Can I sign in with Google? +
Yes. The login screen offers "Continue with Google" as an option alongside email and password. Use whichever you prefer.
